These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SelfAI – AI Photo Studio, including the mobile apps, the web app at app.selfaiphoto.com, and the website at www.selfai-app.com (together, the “Service”), provided by Rocket Digital Limited (“SelfAI,” “we,” “us”).
By using SelfAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use SelfAI. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Notify us at hello@rocketdigital.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
- SelfAI offers free and paid plans. Pricing is shown in the app or on our website.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in the Apple App Store, Google Play, or via RevenueCat-managed account settings.
- Refunds follow the rules of the platform you purchased through (Apple App Store or Google Play).
4. Your content
“Your Content” means photos, prompts, and other materials you upload. You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant SelfAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
You confirm that:
- You have the right to upload Your Content and to grant the license above.
- You have permission from any person identifiable in Your Content.
- Your Content does not violate any law or third-party right.
5. Generated content
Subject to your payment of any applicable fees and your compliance with these Terms, you may use the AI photo studio outputs SelfAI generates for you (“Outputs”) for personal and commercial purposes — including LinkedIn photos, business portraits, resume photos, and personal branding.
Because of how generative AI works, similar Outputs may be produced for other users. We do not claim exclusive ownership of the AI model itself.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SelfAI to:
- Upload photos of other people without their permission.
- Create content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, deceptive, defamatory, or violent.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
- Create deepfakes of public figures, minors, or anyone in a misleading context.
- Bypass safety filters, rate limits, or platform protections.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or model weights.
- Use the Service to compete with SelfAI or to train competing models.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules and remove content that breaches them.
7. Third-party services
SelfAI relies on third-party providers to deliver the Service, including RevenueCat, Firebase, Google AdMob, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, Fal.ai, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Vercel Analytics. Their terms apply to their portion of the Service.
8. Intellectual property
SelfAI, the SelfAI – AI Photo Studio name, the logo, and all related software, designs, and content are owned by Rocket Digital Limited or its licensors. You receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service as permitted by these Terms.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the Service you agree to our handling of data as described there.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a specific use case — review them before publishing.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SelfAI and its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) US$50.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rocket Digital Limited from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using SelfAI at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, our users, or third parties. Sections that should reasonably survive termination will survive.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you through the app, by email, or on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong, unless your local consumer law requires otherwise.
