Information you provide
- Photos and prompts you upload to generate AI headshots, portraits, profile pictures, or other AI photo studio outputs.
- Account details such as your name and email if you create an account.
- Purchases processed by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Support messages when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Device, OS, app version, language, country, and crash diagnostics.
- Usage events such as which styles you generate, screens viewed, and feature interactions.
- IP address, approximate location (city/country), and basic referrer data.
How we use your information
- To run the AI photo studio: generate AI headshots, portraits, and profile pictures from your uploads.
- To deliver, secure, and improve the Service, including reliability, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
- To process subscriptions, restore purchases, and provide receipts.
- To personalize content and styles, and to serve relevant in-app and on-the-web ads.
- To respond to your support requests and send important service notices.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Third-party services we use
We work with carefully selected processors and platforms that help us run SelfAI. Each provider receives only what is needed to do its job:
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management.
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, app analytics, crash reporting, and cloud storage.
- Google AdMob — ad delivery and measurement on mobile.
- OpenAI — AI processing for selected features.
- Microsoft Azure — secure cloud hosting and AI services.
- Replicate — runs the image generation models that power AI headshots and portraits.
- Fal.ai — runs additional generative AI workloads for photo styles.
- Google Analytics — privacy-respecting web analytics on www.selfai-app.com.
- Meta Pixel — performance measurement of marketing campaigns from Meta platforms.
- Vercel Analytics — first-party web performance and event analytics.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution, payments, and platform analytics.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. Where required, we sign data processing agreements and apply standard contractual clauses.
Your photos
- You retain ownership of the photos you upload.
- We process your photos solely to generate the AI outputs you request.
- Source uploads and generated outputs are stored only as long as needed to deliver and improve the Service, then deleted on a rolling schedule.
- We do not sell your photos.
- We do not use your photos to train new AI models without your explicit, opt-in consent.
Cookies and tracking
On www.selfai-app.com we use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) and marketing measurement (Meta Pixel). You can control cookies through your browser. In our mobile apps we use platform identifiers (such as Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and Google Advertising ID) only with your permission.
Custom analytics events
We log custom events (for example iOS_App_Store_Click and GooglePlay_Store_Click) on www.selfai-app.com so we can understand which sections drive app installs and improve the experience.
Sharing of information
We share information only:
- With the service providers listed above so they can run the Service for us.

SelfAI is operated from Hong Kong and uses cloud providers located around the world, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for cross-border transfers.
Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and operational obligations. Generated photos are removed automatically on a rolling schedule unless you save them to your account.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact hello@rocketdigital.ai.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. EEA and UK residents have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR.
Children
SelfAI is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No system can guarantee perfect security, so please use a strong password and keep your devices safe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email where appropriate.
